The current economic crisis in Sri Lanka has devastated the country, pushing the low-income earning classes even deeper into the straits of poverty and desperation. Among others, pregnant mothers are one of the groups of people most severely affected by the economic crisis and the sky-rocketing grocery prices.
Having realized this, in continuation of our ongoing Crisis Relief Aid Project, we at Carestation distributed 88 dry ration packs to pregnant mothers in Eheliyagoda in the Ratnapura District.
With the consequences of the economic crisis growing graver each day, we at Carestation request our kind donors to contribute to our Crisis Relief Aid Project, to help us distribute dry rations to those most deserving of it.
