Namalwatte in the Trincomalee district is a drought-stricken area, where water is scarce. With so many cases of kidney disease being reported in the area, the villagers are forced to purchase drinking water, or walk long distances every day to get water for their daily needs.

Having understood the dire need for clean water in Namalwatte, we at Carestation took the initiative to build 3 community wells in the area.

Each well cost approximately 250,000 LKR, and we are so beyond grateful to everyone of you who donated to this noble cause!
