Tube Well Installment Initiatives

At carestation, we understand the critical importance of access to clean water in communities facing water scarcity. In several far-flung areas of Sri Lanka, many people, particularly those in dry zones and resettlement areas after the war, are forced to walk long distances in search of clean water.

We at CareStation aim to remedy this issue and provide a sustainable solution through our Tube Well Installment Initiatives. These tube wells not only provide water to a wide network of people, but also save them time, effort, and money.

Our Well Projects

Through our well projects, we have implemented three distinct types of initiatives tailored to address various water accessibility needs:

1. Deep Tube Well (village /Community)
– Our community-based deep tube wells are strategically designed to serve larger populations, ensuring access to clean water for entire communities. These wells are drilled to significant depths, tapping into underground water sources to provide a reliable and sustainable water supply for multiple households.

2. Dug Well / Common Well (Individual)
– We construct individual dug wells, also known as common wells, at household levels to provide direct access to clean water for specific families. These wells are manually excavated and meticulously lined to prevent contamination, catering to the immediate water needs of individual households with convenience and reliability.

3. Dug Well (Community):
– Similar to individual dug wells, our community-based initiatives focus on serving multiple households within specific localities. These wells are either manually dug or created using excavator machinery and are reinforced to ensure clean water access for a larger group of people. They are also larger in size. By promoting communal water usage, these projects address the collective water needs of the community, fostering sustainability and community resilience.

Through these diverse well projects, we strive to alleviate water scarcity and empower communities with a vital resource essential for health, hygiene, and overall well-being.
