English lab

English Lab is one of Carestation’s latest ventures: an education center for underprivileged children in Maligawatte.

English lab will host weekly classes taught by hired professionals, offering main subjects like Mathematics and Spoken/Basic English, free of charge to a selected group of children from impoverished families in the area.

We hope to cover more than just knowledge off of books and paper in the curriculum. English Lab will focus also on teaching financial literacy, critical thinking, practical life skills, mindfulness and mental health, career and vocational guidance, and global perspectives.

We hope to empower our students with enough knowledge to face the real world head-on. We hope to see them become the best version of themselves.
