CS141- Construction of a Well

45 year old labourer and his 26 year old son-in-law strive to support a family of nine members with the meagre income they gain from completing odd jobs. Their combined daily earnings is not nearly enough to cover all of their expenses, especially with the added cost of educational expenses for four schoolchildren, while also trying to provide for all the household needs. To make matters worse, this family has to also contend with the fact that they have no water facilities. Although they have been using their neighbour’s well, this is not feasible in the long term as they are a very big family who needs access to a lot of water to fulfil their daily requirements.
