We at Carestation have been continuing to implement Project CareKitchen, where we distribute free, cooked meals to anyone who needs it.

We were able to give out 150 cooked food packs near De Zoysa hospital. Those who received the food packs were mostly people from the fuel queues— who had been standing for hours and hours on end—, hospital workers, and CMC workers.

These are chaotic times, and Sri Lanka has never before seen such financial instability. So many are desperate, and hungry, and destitute. Let us help each other out where and when we can.
