We at CareStation appreciate all the support given to us by our generous donors towards our ‘REDISCOVERING HOPE BY EMPOWERING WOMEN’ (self-employment project 2018) and we are excited to share the progress your contribution enabled. Now the women are learning not only how to make garments, but also some basics of management, marketing, cost accounting, work flow… stitching their way toward a measure of economic independence and what they hope; a better future.
We are happy to be implementing such programs in rural villages in Sri Lanka for women in need. We believe in seeing a person break through her cycle of poverty and then act as a role model for another person to do the same is the way forward for sustainable development.
