CS200 CARE KITCHEN – Kandy district (Gampola )

Care Kitchen is a project that we at Carestation initiated over an year ago and are continuing to implement in view of the difference it continues to make.

Recently, we set up Care Kitchen in Gampola where we distributed cooked meals to anyone and everyone who needed it. Through Care Kitchen, we are able to distribute meals to people who may be skipping meals to make sure their children have more to eat, to people who have been working so hard that they haven’t had the time to sit down for a bite to eat, to people who are hungry and would otherwise have to go without a proper meal. Care Kitchen makes a difference in its own small way. Every act of kindness generates a ripple effect, even if we can’t see it— and that’s what Care Kitchen is about.

Kudos to our Kandy team for tirelessly making Care Kitchen happen in Gampola, doing everything from the food procurement to the distribution and everything else surrounding the implementation of this project. We hope to continue implementing Care Kitchen across other parts of the island, and we hope to continue seeing the ripple effects of small kindnesses.
