With food becoming less and less affordable, more and more people are being forced to go without. Three meals are considered a luxury where once they were a basic necessity.
We at Carestation have been implementing our Care Kitchen project, where we distribute free cooked meals to anyone who wants it. Recently, we implemented this near Kalubowila Hospital in Dehiwela, where we distributed food packs to hospital staff, security staff, road workers, and the general public.
Care Kitchen ensures that many people are fed, who are otherwise without the means to help feed themselves.
