Back to school 2018 – Matale

As another new year unfolds; in spite of it being a day of the school holiday season, Sariputta primary model school in Karagahalanda was alive and buzzing for the presentation ceremony of our ‘Back2School’ event. The smiling young faces were eagerly awaiting to discover their brand new backpacks which were filled with stationary and learning essentials.

This small model school in Matale district was one of the three beneficiary schools of our 2018 ‘Back2School’ project by which we aim to embellish students from rural schools with the right equipment for learning. On this special occasion the enthralled young minds went home with the excitement of facing the new school year with their elemental wishes taken care of.

As we wrap the project for this year, we would like to thank every single contributor and well-wisher who joined hands with us to mark this endeavour a success. Especially our donors, may the seeds you sow today bear the brightest fruits tomorrow!
