This is to officially announce that with your support, kind contributions, & promised pledges we have commenced the process of Baby azeeza’s liver transplant surgery coordinated by the local medical agency. The surgery and related expenses were estimated to be 7.5 million Sri Lankan Rupees.
On July 10, 2018, the parents, an attendant, and the baby traveled to India for the surgery. We are infinitely grateful to all our members, partners, organizations, volunteer groups, well wishers and individual donors from around the world who helped generously for making this task possible. This has been an outcome of true team effort by each and everyone, there were people who donated Rs 100 from their pocket money while there were people who fundraised in whatever capacity they could. It has been a remarkable journey for us all.
