CS052 – Medical for Infant

Having suffered a bike accident and with a steel plate in his leg, this 20 year old mason who was once the breadwinner for his family of a housewife and an infant, is no longer able to work.
Their seven month old infant was diagnosed with Congenital CMV, further adding to the worry and medical expenses of a family who had already lost employment and income.
Moving in to the mother’s parents’ home -an unfinished two roomed house which houses a total of seven adults and more children, this young family manages to just barely get by on the meagre salary of the mother’s sister’s husband, as a temporary measure.
Having heard of their plight, we at Carestation visited their humble home, and set a monthly allowance to meet the baby’s medical costs and nutritional expenses.
